“We started our holiday with three nights at this very friendly and comfortable hotel, before travelling to another part of the island. Some changes since our last visit in October, with the road outside becoming 'one way' and some refurbishment of the pavement areas. Within level strolling distance to all that Argostoli has to offer, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting the capital. What made this hotel even more outstanding was that when we were unable to fly home as scheduled due to sudden illness, and a night spent in hospital, we went back to the hotel and bookings were tweaked so that we could have a room for another two nights until we could fly home. Thank you to everyone at Aggelos Hotel and we will look forward to staying with you again in the future.”

“This is a lovely friendly small hotel and excellent value for money. The location is perfect - right by the water with a lovely view from our balcony at the front, it is also on the edge of town but still close to everything. Not only did we have the view from our front facing room but also the shade in the afternoon, really important when the weather was as hot as it was during our stay. We enjoyed watching turtles and boats and ferries from the balcony The bed was the the most comfortable we have slept in when staying in Greece. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and it was good to be able to take it to the outside terrace to eat. We really appreciated having a late check out room at the end of our stay for no extra charge. The hotel organised our taxi to and from the airport for us. It isn't five star, it is what it is and most definitely a wonderful relaxing place. We want to return in the future.”

“We loved our recent stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfortable with crisp cotton sheets, Tea making facilities (A must for me!), A fridge, hairdryer, lots of hot water. A great buffet style breakfast with a lovely selection of fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, cereals, bread and pastries to name but a few. We found Sophia and Aggelos our reception hosts to be charming and helpful. The hotel is on the best side of town as far as we were concerned with a lovely walk through a pine forest, beside the water, leading to the lighthouse and some great tavernas. Charming small bays suitable for swimming. We would definitely come back here.”

“We stayed at Aggelos last week on our first visit to Kefalonia. Location was excellent for us, as it was in the quieter part of Argostoli, although only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre. Rooms were very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was excellent for a small family run hotel. Sea view room was ideal for just sitting watching the Cruise ships come and go and also the large yachts that docked nearby. We would definitely stay at Aggelos again, when we return to Kefalonia.”

“Quest’anno la nostra destinazione era Kefalonia, che dire un’isola stupenda e la scelta di soggiornare al Hotel Aggelos è stata perfetta! Albergo di piccole dimensioni posizionato in un angolo suggestivo dell’isola e vicinissimo al centro. Conduzione famigliare, persone meravigliose, disponibili e professionali. Ideale per coppie. Una buona colazione. Camere anche se di piccole dimensioni ben arredate è sempre pulite. É stato davvero un piacevole soggiorno e contiamo di tornarci. Grazie Monia e Emanuel.”

“Rooms have everything that you could want. Very clean and tidy. Good size for a double and a lovely little balcony. The air conditioning worked really well. Would recommend booking a sea view. Breakfast was amazing, a really good choice. Could be a bit noisy, but only due to echoing corridors as there were tiles everywhere and the sound carried a lot. Room cleaned every day. Really friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. Really good quiet location, 5 minutes walk away from town, only a couple of metres from the sea.”

“The hotel is at the quiet end of the town, with free parking. It is very clean with friendly staff. They will go to a lot of trouble to try and help, we had a couple of problems and they were corrected immediately. The rooms at the front overlook the most beautiful view of the sea and mountains opposite, and it is very quiet. Best breakfast I have had in many hotels, far superior to what you would get in a more expensive hotel with fresh squeezed orange juice and really beautiful yogurt and honey plus selections of cakes fruit and all kinds of other things.”
